Da'Jahna Carter

Field Director

Da'Jahna Carter is a Field Director at Genesis In-Home Care. She originally joined the team in 2012 as a Direct Care Worker, working during the summers she was home from college. While away at college Da'Jahna worked as a resident aide and volunteered for different companies in Grand Rapids. Upon graduating from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology, Da'Jahna became a Team Leader working for Genesis. Da'Jahna moved Tennessee for a few years and recently moved back, rejoining the team as a Field Director. In her role as a Field Director, Da'Jahna is responsible for leading the Team Leaders and ensuring smooth operations in their homes. This includes monitoring, visiting, recruiting, and assisting the Team Leaders while maintaining and promoting the core values of Genesis amongst the team and a working to help cultivate culture of gentleness throughout the organization.
