Robert Wright

Director of Operations

Robert Wright is the Director of Operations for Genesis In-Home Care. He joined the team in 2012 as a Team Leader. Before coming to work for Genesis, Robert worked for four years with two other provider agencies serving as a Direct Care Worker and Home Manager. At Genesis, Robert has served in several capacities since including Team Leader and Field Director and Vice President before assuming the role of Director of Operations.

As Director of Operations, Robert is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of the organization. He is tasked with leading, guiding and directing the contributions of other leaders within Genesis. Robert is passionate about enhancing the lives of those with disabilities and developing the team around him to get better every day.

Robert is a Certified Mentor of Gentle Teaching. He has been a presenter at the Michigan Culture of Gentleness Conference, the Gentle Teaching International Conference and the Raising the Bar Interdisciplinary Conference where he has presented on leadership, teamwork and change management.

Robert Wright has been recognized by the Oakland County Executive with the Elite 40 Under 40 award. Robert received this award because of his outstanding accomplishments in business, specifically for his triumph in developing Genesis to become an excellent and admired service provider.

In addition to his work with Genesis, Robert volunteers his time at Azteca Youth Enrichment in Pontiac where he coaches boxing to underprivileged youth.
